CBSE takes this decision for Board students who tested covid-19 positive

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has made an important announcement for students who have contracted COVID-19. As per the CBSE circular if a student has tested positive then he/she need not worry about his/her lab practical exams. Exams for such students will be postponed and can be done either in April or even after written exams are over. CBSE circular says such students should just be advised to take rest and be in isolation at home. The office of the CBSE has said that if any candidate tests positive for COVID-19 and 'is not in a position to appear in the practical exam', the practical for that student can be held at a later date.Heads of at least two schools said that this decision will reassure parents and students. CBSE has launched new assignment framework for 6 to 10.Tap to know

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) today announced a suggested competency-based assessment framework for classes 6-10 based on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. As per the board, the framework will replace the 'existing rote learning model and will focus on assessing students based on their competencies needed to solve day-to-day problems.' Ramesh Pokhriyal union minister of educational department launched the framework and said the assessment aim to improve the overall learning skills of subjects like-English,Maths and Science. In the first phase selected Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, UT Chandigarh and private schools across the country will participate in the programme which will be rolled out to all 25,000 CBSE schools in India by 2024, as per CBSE.
